Wolf Safety has expanded its range with the addition of a proven range of high-output flameproof leadlamps.
Many of Wolf's overseas agents, such as Plus Alpha Corporation in Japan and Groupe Leader in France, have placed orders, even though it will be December before stock becomes available.
This new range of two-cell torches comprises six models, and is the first completely new purpose-designed explosion protected safety torch to have been produced in Europe since the late 1980s.
Already several unique features of the range have received notable mention, in particular the power and light output of the T4 models, equivalent to many existing three-cell torches currently on the market.
The low battery indicator feature on the top-of-the-range T4+ models, supplied with a halogen bulb, has been very well received, and is considered to be well worth the extra cost.
Other features appreciated by those who have seen the new torch, include the ergonomic design of the torch bodies with their easy single-handed switching (even with gloved hands), and the high strength, well positioned thermoplastic clips on the right angle models, facilitating hands free operation.
Offering the best combination of performance and safety, Wolf Safety's new ATEX torches are supplied with user-friendly graphic maintenance instructions with text in eleven languages, and combines the ATEX 94/9/EC Declaration of Conformity, as well as clearly indicating which dry batteries are Certified for each model.
