Two new PLC network interface modules allow connectivity between an AS-Interface network and either an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix/MicroLogix 1500 processor.
Two new PLC network interface modules allow connectivity between an AS-Interface network and either an Allen-Bradley ControlLogix processor (part number: SST-ASI-CLX) or an Allen-Bradley CompactLogix/MicroLogix 1500 processor (SST-ASI-CMX).
The Woodhead modules provide a fast and easy way to integrate AS-Interface with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix processors.
The modules support up to 124 AS-Interface slaves and include diagnostic capabilities for power, communication, voltage and configuration errors.
The SST-ASI-CLX module for ControlLogix includes two channels to connect to two AS-Interface networks.
The AS-interface Master already fulfils the new specification 2.1.
Woodhead also offers an AS-Interface module for connecting AS-Interface to an Allen-Bradley SLC 500 (part number: SST-ASI-SLC), as well as other PLC network interfaces that provide connectivity between different industrial networks and PLCs.
Other solutions available from Woodhead include PC/PLC network interfaces, gateways, I/O simulation software, diagnostic tools, I/O modules, connectors, cable assemblies and connection blocks.
