The NR44 combines the Gestra RK86 (A) and the Worcester A44 three-piece ball valves in a single unit, is for handling steam and aggressive media up to Class 300 pressures

Many steam and process lines require both an isolation valve and a non-return valve - in many cases resulting in additional flanges, gaskets and installation work, as well as a hard-to-maintain valve assembly.

Now Invensys Flow Control UK has introduced the NR44, which combines the Gestra RK86 (A) and the Worcester A44 three-piece ball valves in a single unit which, says the company, is ideal for handling steam and aggressive media up to Class 300 pressures.

As well as space and weight reductions, says Invensys, the NR44 also brings low cost of installation and maintenance benefits.

The Gestra spring check design allows flexible valve orientation, while end connectors to the Worcester 44 series can be screwed, socket weld or butt weld.
