Expansion brings new pumps to North America

A Flowserve product story

A North American expansion allows Flowserve to offer comprehensive worldwide availability of all Men pump sizes in both frame-mounted and close-coupled configurations.

Flowserve is expanding its family of Men water pumps to the North American market.

This North American expansion allows Flowserve to offer comprehensive worldwide availability of all Men sizes in both frame-mounted and close-coupled configurations.

The Men single-stage, end-suction pumps deliver maximum mechanical and hydraulic flexibility, and are ruggedly designed to provide reliable performance in a variety of water services.

These areas include water supply, water treatment, irrigation, drainage, filter cleaning, water circulation and HVAC.

The Flowserve Men is constructed with a one-piece bearing frame that is available in three sizes to ensure parts interchangeability among pump sizes and configurations.

The resulting reduction in inventory costs, along with the Men's hydraulic flexibility and minimal maintenance needs, provides users with significant cost savings.

Operating parameters for Men pumps include: flows to 800m3/h, heads to 140m, pressures to 16 bar and temperatures from -10C to 140C.

The close-coupled configuration of the Men water pump is the MenBloc.

Not requiring a baseplate or coupling, the MenBloc is an economical alternative to the frame-mounted Men.

Its reduced footprint permits its use in restricted spaces.

The MenBLOC accommodates flows to 340m3/h (1500 gpm), heads to 16 bar (230 psi) and temperatures to 100C (230F).

The Men and MenBloc pumps are CE marked and comply with the dimensional requirements of the latest editions of EN 733 and DIN 24 255.

Casing flange connections meet ANSI B16.1 Class 125 and 250 dimensional standards.

Vent, gauge and drain connections are NPT.

Other Men configurations include the Men-SP cantilever sump pump and the Men-TI diesel-driven fire pump.
