In applications with a high level of background noise relatively loud signal tones are needed.

As a result loud sirens or signal horns are often used applications such as signalling the beginning and end of breaks in factories and schools or to alert danger.

Werma has developed a new gong with a melodious A-major three-tone sound output.

Thanks to its protection rating of IP55 it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The volume of the gong is variable up to 100dB and due to its impact resistant plastic housing it is vandal-proof.

The Werma 170 electronic three-tone gong is capable of continuous operation and offers the further advantage that multiple gongs can be operated in parallel.

The unit is triggered by means of time relay or timer switch.

The 170 three-tone gong is available in 24 and 230V versions.
