Measurement portfolio gains systems dimension
Wessex Metrology has added industrial strength sensing systems to its portfolio of effective engineering measurement solutions.
Wessex Metrology has added industrial strength sensing systems to its portfolio of effective engineering measurement solutions.
The inclusion of measurement solutions from Promess/HP Metec, a world leader in gauging systems, adds a new dimension to the company's metrology portfolio, enabling it to meet the demanding requirements of today's high-volume component makers.
Drawing on its extensive engineering and metrology experience, Wessex Metrology will work with Promess/HP Metec to define optimised application-specific metrology system solutions for its clients.
Suitable for stand-alone operation or full in-process integration, these multipoint measurement systems combine the exceptional linearity of HP Metec's monobloc gauging elements with advanced data collection and analysis systems from Promess.
The resulting high integrity measurement systems go beyond simple data logging to full shop-floor-based data collection and analysis.
Promess/HP Metec systems are in use in a wide variety of applications, such as differential part comparison and camshaft thrust measurement.
"Wessex Metrology already boasts an enviable product portfolio from renowned world-class manufacturers, including fixed gauging from LMW, TC and Martin+Tschopp, bore gauges from Hexacon, gear and spline gauges from Frenco TPT, and length and thickness callipers from Kroeplin all global bywords for quality and precision", notes Hamish Gracie, Managing Director at Wessex Metrology.
"The addition of Promess/HP Metec systems significantly extends the solution possibilities we can offer our clients".
