Long returns to senior role
Witt Gas Techniques, the Warrington, Cheshire based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier has appointed Carl Long as Technical Manager.
Witt Gas Techniques, the Warrington, Cheshire based gas safety, control, mixing and analysis equipment supplier has appointed Carl Long as Technical Manager Long who has a BEng (Hons) in electrical/electronics engineering, rejoins Witt Gas from BSL, where he was a Regional Specialist for Industrial Automation and Fluid Power

Witt Gas Techniques has produced a new 16-page full colour corporate brochure entitled "Our answers to your questions".
Before this he was Service Manager with Witt Gas until May 2002, so he returns with a comprehensive knowledge of the company's products.
He originally started his career at Speywood Biopharm, a pharmaceutical factory in Wexham, where he successfully completed his EITB apprenticeship as an electrical technician, before taking his degree.
General Manager Don Grimshaw said: "Carl has extensive experience and knowledge in electronics/engineering product marketing and sales, including software/programme development.
He also has a very extensive knowledge of our own products, which is a major asset in his new role at Technical Manager.
We are continually developing new products to meet the demands of industry and Carl's experience of knowing Witt Gas and the hands-on roles he has had in applications engineering, product and process development will help take Witt Gas forward." Long is 28, married and lives in Caergwrle, Flintshire and lists taking part in off-road motorsport and DIY as his outside interests.
