Custom seals provided in a hurry
Within nine days of being asked to quote for the project, PWI had submitted a detailed offer, including full engineering drawings.
For applications where energy demand varies with production, Wyko can supply units with Peak Lopping controllers, producing extra power for short periods and therefore avoiding the need for expensive continuous use.
The generator supply, installation and maintenance service is ideal for customers with critical manufacturing or ICT systems, such as universities, banks, hospitals, oil rigs and continuous process industries.
Of particular interest to the marine industry, Wyko can also commission 460V, 60Hz generators that provide up to 2MW of power to ships docked anywhere in the UK within two working days.
For ships on the move, the generator sales and supply service helps reduce costly layover periods by allowing ships to sail while repair and refurbishment work is being completed.
Alternatively, units with 200m supply cables can be supplied on the dockside during refits and maintenance.
When the scale of operations does not require full backup power, this offers a far more efficient option than on board systems.
Additional fuel tanks, which have protection from theft or tampering, are available with a 24h watch-keep service to make sure the generators do not run dry.
Wyko Industrial Services' supply partner for this service is Woodland Generators, a BSI accredited manufacturer, and Lloyds register number BS 7698.
Wyko's fully qualified engineers carry out the supply and installation of each generator system.
As well as commissioning and decommissioning, Wyko can also supply a complete range of ancillary equipment such as bunded fuel tanks, distribution equipment, LV/HV transformers, load banks and transfer panels. Request a free brochure from Eriks UK ...
