Eriks UK has signed an extended distribution contract with SMC Pneumatics (UK), the world leader in pneumatic technology.
Eriks UK has signed an extended distribution contract with SMC Pneumatics.
Under the terms of the agreement, Eriks UK becomes a Level 1 National Distributor for the entire SMC range of pneumatic products and services.
The agreement brings together the technical sales and support teams of both organisations.
With SMC's engineering, development and test facility in Milton Keynes, Eriks UK can focus on providing real engineering and cost saving benefits to the UK industry.
Steve Bangs, Managing Director of SMC Pneumatics (UK), said: "We extended our Level 1 agreement with Eriks UK because the company offers a broad line of products to a wide range of industries that are key targets for increasing our business".
"We look forward to supporting Eriks UK as they engage in joint initiatives to develop the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) markets nationally".
Eriks UK has over 10 million items in stock.
This means Eriks' customers are able to choose parts from a broad range for use in both replacement applications and volume assembly operations.
This service provides the customer the convenience and cost savings of only having to deal with one supplier.
The company provides technical support and a complete fluid power solution service, from design and specification to assembly, installation and maintenance.
Eriks UK also offers a design and installation service for pneumatic systems.
By outsourcing the design, build and commissioning, companies are able to improve efficiency by focussing on their core activities.
Eriks UK offers both systems and engineering support for the OEM and MRO markets.
Customers can also take advantage of compressed air usage audits and energy reports to identify potential savings.
