Eriks aims to eliminate premature bearing failure

An Eriks UK product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 10, 2008

Eriks UK is offering a bearing mounting and demounting service that aims to help firms eliminate costly premature bearing failure caused by improper fitting.

Eriks will offer the service from its nationwide network of 24 Eriks workshops.

In addition to mounting and demounting bearings, Eriks can also evaluate bearing systems including, for example, consideration of lubrication provisions and sealing, to ensure that the system in place is optimum for the application.

On the basis of its evaluation, Eriks will provide recommendations on the best products to use, as well as supplying those products quickly and at competitive prices.

For shaft sizes over 3.5in diameter, Eriks offers a discount on bearings supplied and fitted by the company.

Also included at no extra cost for these larger bearings are condition evaluation visits 12 and 24 months after fitting.
