Cone Drive launches Series S servo gearhead

A Cone Drive product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 13, 2009

Cone Drive has announced the launch of the Series S, a low-cost, high-performance right-angle servo gearhead.

The Series S is available in five sizes with ratios from 5:1 through 60:1 and speeds up to 4,000rpm.

It uses Cone Drive's Conex worm-gear technology.

The housing is smooth and of aluminium construction with an IP55 rating, making it ideal for washdown applications.

The Series S servo rated reducer is ideal for the packaging and automation market offering direct drop-in against most US-manufactured worm-gear reducers.

The reducer comes standard with a hollow output and the flexibility to simply insert a solid output shaft from either side of the reducer or with a double-extended solid output.
