The THD series of compact AC/DC DIN-rail 60 and 120W power supplies measure just 100 x 45 x 75 and 100 x 85 x 75mm, respectively.

The THD series of compact AC/DC DIN-rail 60 and 120W power supplies measure just 100 x 45 x 75 and 100 x 85 x 75mm, respectively.

These compact plastic cased units offer a 35% reduction in size compared with current models and reduce costs by 20%.

With worldwide safety approvals and an MTBF of better than 450kh, they are ideally suited for applications in process control, automation and instrumentation.

The THD series offers a six-cycle hold up time, so in the event of a power outage the unit maintains full power output for 125ms at 230V AC, a useful feature when used in harsh industrial environments.

The power supplies have wide output adjustment range including a battery charging option covering 12-15, 24-28 and 48-56V DC models.

The units can therefore be adjusted to the appropriate voltage and used as a low cost battery charger for DC standby systems.

The THD has a "power good" signal for remote monitoring and "DC-OK" LED for visual identification.

Two connection methods are available, a cage clamp for quick installation and removal and screw terminals for secure and rugged positioning.

The product meets international safety standards including: UL508, standard for industrial control equipment; UL50178, electronic equipment for use in power installations; EN60204, safety of machinery- electrical equipment of machines, and EN61558-2-8, safety of power transformers, power supply units and similar.
