A ThreeBond Europe product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jun 10, 2008

ThreeBond TB1215 forms a rubber-like highly elastic gasket, completely adapted to the surface structure of the flange facing.

ThreeBond TB1215 is a single-component liquid silicone gasket now available in a 200g pressurised canister with a finger-tip control nozzle for installation, maintenance and repair situations.

It is ideal for flanges that need to be sealed against water or oil in general engineering, power plants, power transmission, marine engines, gearboxes or agricultural equipment.

TB1215 is also used extensively in applications within the motorcycle or car performance aftermarkets and motorsport sectors.

ThreeBond TB1215 is OEM-specified by the majority of global motor vehicle producers.

It is a solvent-free, low-odour and nonacidic liquid gasket base on RTV-silicone.

Within a very short time it forms a rubber-like highly elastic gasket, completely adapted to the surface structure of the flange facing.

ThreeBond TB1215 suits use in gearboxes, oil pans, water pumps and front covers.

It resists oils and shearing forces, with excellent adhesion to slightly polluted surfaces.

It also offers zero shrinkage and instantaneous impermeability for pressure and fire tests.

The new 200g pressure can is ideal for workshop or on site use while other packs of 310millilitre cartridges, 20kg and 250kg pails are suited to production environments.
