Engineering IT consultancy Xype has added SolidWorks to its growing portfolio of engineering software applications.
SolidWorks is firmly established as a world leader in the provision of mechanical design and product development software and this new agreement further strengthens Xype's relationship with French software giant Dassault Systemes (owner of Solidworks) as Xype is already the largest UK reseller of their 3DVIA visualisation application Xype will offer sales, support and authorised training from its recently opened Bristol office and this agreement comes at a time of considerable growth for the company following its recent renewal of its status as a tier one supplier of IT services to EADS and Airbus through to the end of 2010, together with the award of Authorised Training Partner status by Airbus for supply of PDM and Catia V5 training to the Airbus supply chain
