Inverter emergency braking without brake resistors
Many inverter controlled, induction motor applications require the ability to stop quickly, and Yaskawa is proposing to achieve this by manipulating the commanded frequency
The Climate Change Levy will affect all industrial electricity users, but the Government has provided some relief in the form of Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECAs) for a range of approved energy saving products including variable speed drives and high efficiency motors.
FPT Fenner's seminars are presented by independent experts who will explain in simple terms what the CCL and the ECAs mean for individuals and highlight possible energy saving methods.
Morning seminars start at 10.00am, while the afternoon sessions start at 2.30pm with refreshments available before hand.
The exact venues and locations will be provided by FPT Fenner on request.
Those interested in attending should call Carol Moorhouse at FPT Fenner on 01254 299590 or e-mail carol.moorhouse@fptgroup.com.
