Brigade unveils camera monitor system

A Brigade Electronics product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 17, 2009

Brigade Electronics has launched a camera monitor system with a rugged design for severe weather conditions.

The BE-970 FM camera monitor system is water resistant to IP67, ideal for commercial vehicles and mobile plant machinery with exposed operator positions.

The 7in TFT LCD anti-glare monitor is designed specifically for construction, mining, quarry and agricultural applications.

The robust design conforms to SA-J1455 for use in harsh environments and ISO 13766:2006 standards for electrical compatibility for earth-moving machinery.

The monitor is suitable for vehicles such as dumper trucks, tractors, loaders, tarmac layers and tele-lifts.

The heavy-duty bracket is steadier for the weightier monitor and can withstand higher shock and vibration levels.

The BE-970 FM monitor has picture-in-picture screen options, allowing the driver to view all the blind spots on one monitor, preventing information overload from multiple mirrors.

Single, split and quad options can also be selected for safe manoeuvring.

Image options can be selected via five auto trigger signals such as selecting the turn indicator or reverse gear, with four camera inputs for front, side and rear view.
