Yokogawa has added two new models and increased the functionality of other units in its Green Series of digital indicating controllers.

The two new models, the UT420 and UT450, are general-purpose high-performance controllers with 5-digit displays, remote setpoint input, 1% measurement accuracy and simplified control functions for ease of configuration.

Typical applications include heat-treatment furnaces, incinerators, ovens and kilns in a variety of industries.

Enhancements to the whole Green Series include a new Super 2 function for suppressing hunting, Modbus communications interfaces, the provision of 24 V power supplies for transmitters, and enhanced custom computation capabilities for the 'top end' UT/UP750 models.

All models in the range can now be programmed using a range of easy-to-use non-invasive programming tools known as the Light Loader Series.

Running under Windows 95/98/NT, the LL100 parameter setting tool and LL200 custom computation building tool can set all relevant controller parameters via a simple graphic interface.

The controllers are also provided with full CD-ROM based instruction manuals as well as simple paper manuals.
