Yokogawa has released new versions of its proven pH and conductivity transmitters with Profibus PA communications interfaces.

Yokogawa has released new versions of its proven pH and conductivity transmitters with Profibus PA communications interfaces The inclusion of Profibus PA outputs in the company's EXA Series of CE-approved two-wire transmitters completes the suite of available outputs that already includes Foundation Fieldbus, Hart and conventional 4-20mA

The products that have been updated with Profibus PA are the EXA PH202 pH and redox (ORP) analyser, the EXA SC202 conductivity and resistivity analyser, and the EXA ISC202 inductive conductivity analyser.

All three instruments incorporate Yokogawa's proven EXA sensor diagnostics capabilities to provide enhanced status monitoring and asset-management facilities for the end-user.

The transmitters are housed in robust IP65 field-mountable cases, and incorporate large, clear LCD displays and easy-to-use controls.

Built-in software provides online sensor checking, an event logbook and process temperature compensation.

Password protection is provided for all levels of software.

All the instruments are provided with the important and widely used device description files that provide information on parameters and other data in each device, as well as the ability to include algorithmic relationships such as calibrations.

In addition to Profibus PA, the transmitters can also be supplied with Hart and Foundation Fieldbus H1 Fieldbus protocols.
