Yokogawa Marex has sold its 400th Exaquantum plant information management system.

Yokogawa Marex has sold its 400th Exaquantum plant information management system (PIMS).

With its ability to provide complete turnkey services from sensors to full MES solutions, Yokogawa is the supplier of choice for many customers and industries worldwide.

New Exaquantum installations include Shell Norco in the USA, Shell Nanhai in China, Shell Clyde and Geelong Refineries in Australia, the Jubail United Petroleum Corp (JUPC) in Saudi Arabia, the Sohar Refinery in Oman and Eraring Energy in Australia.

Consequently, Exaquantum now has a significant worldwide PIMS presence.

Exaquantum PIMS provides the core system for other Yokogawa packages including Exaquantum/Batch, Exaquantum/SER sequence of events recorder and Exaspot oil and gas process optimiser.

Nigel Bowden, MD of GMSC says: "Exaquantum is going from strength to strength as shown by the significant number of orders being received and we expect to receive our 500th order in June 2005".

"With many old plants now being retro-fitted with new control systems to provide greater efficiency and return on investment, it is not surprising that so many top international companies have chosen Exaquantum as their platform of choice".
