Yorpower Manufacturing has acquired the diesel and gas maintenance business of Power Plant Services.
Yorpower Manufacturing has acquired the diesel and gas maintenance business of Power Plant Services (PPS).
Power Plant Services has facilities in South Kirkby, Runcorn, Bristol and London.
The company is engaged in all aspects of diesel and gas generator activities, including sales, hire, repair, installation and servicing.
It also operates strong businesses in generator spare parts and the servicing and replacement of fire pump equipment.
PPS was formed in 1968, and has grown today to service a fleet of more than one thousand generators across the UK, employing over forty staff.
With such a strong presence in the after market, PPS is an ideal fit for Yorpower.
Yorpower is a major player in the supply and installation of generators worldwide.
