Red Cedar Technology has announced the release of Heeds Professional 5.3.
This latest release introduces features that streamline the design optimisation process for engineers, including direct interfaces to LS-DYNA, Abaqus 6.8 and Windows HPC Server 2008.
Heeds Professional's LS-DYNA portal supports extraction of responses in all of the existing LS-DYNA output files.
The portal is compatible with versions 970 and 971 of LS-DYNA.
The Heeds Professional Abaqus output portal has been updated to support Abaqus v6.8, to perform value extraction faster, and to include all outputs available in the Abaqus .odb file.
The portal is compatible with versions 6.6 through 6.8 of Abaqus.
Heeds Professional's new interface to the Windows HPC cluster scheduler allows Heeds to seamlessly set up, execute and monitor jobs on the Windows HPC cluster.
This interface can be used to perform one or multiple jobs simultaneously for a project, providing a speed-up of the design study being performed.
The speed-up factor is equal to the number of simultaneous evaluations that can be performed using the cluster.
Heeds Professional is a software package that interfaces with all of the popular CAE applications to automate the design optimisation process.
It conducts a broad, efficient search for optimised designs, often in a fraction of the time it would take to perform a handful of manual iterations.
Whether you need to improve the design of a simple engineered system or solve multidisciplinary problems, Heeds Professional can rapidly identify the parameter values or attributes to satisfy design criteria.
