The new M400MR vortex flowmeter for engine blow-by flow measurement incorporates three flow ranges in a single flowmeter, covering 4-440 litre/min.

Covering gas, petrol and diesel engine variants, from small utility engines to large industrial power packs the versatile flowmeter provides all the necessary flow range coverage in a single flow meter.

Aimed predominantly at the automotive R and D environment, the meter is available with digital display, rate or total, analogue output and RS232.

Available through Labcell of Alton, Hampshire, the meter comes, calibrated across all ranges, is supplied in a rugged carry case and is offered with a free factory return calibration after 6 months and 1 year.

The flowmeter is a stocked item and available for immediate delivery.

The new meter was one of the projects undertaken by Imperial College student Jack Orman during his time at Young Calibration as part of the Shell Step scheme.

Orman's contribution was awarded with a winners medal at the Sussex Business Link awards ceremony.
