The TEV series is designed for use in a wide range of mobility applications including wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lawn mowers, golf trolleys and automatic guided vehicles (AGVs).
Yuasa Battery's TEV series of batteries feature heavy-duty plates and separator systems to deliver double the service of conventional counterparts.
Four batteries are available in the range all offering 12V output with 18, 21, 26 and 36Ah capacities..
The TEV series is designed for use in a wide range of mobility applications including wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lawn mowers, golf trolleys and automatic guided vehicles (AGVs).
The batteries are also ideal for other cyclic applications such as toy cars, photovoltaics, lighting, sprayers, robots, electric tools, communications equipment, pumps, measuring instruments and magnetic lifts.
TEV series batteries are designed for up to 500 charge/discharge cycles at 75% depth of discharge (DOD), around twice as many cycles as conventional cyclic use batteries.
This has been achieved using plate barrier prevention and separator systems to help ensure deep discharge use, considerably prolonging the service life.
Yuasa has also achieved a higher capacity from the same footprint as standard cyclic batteries, ensuring superior performance in all cyclic applications.
TEV series batteries are valve-regulated and maintenance-free, with the battery electrolyte retained solidly in the separator and an innovative gas recombination system allowing minimum gas emissions.
TEV series batteries also feature minimal self-discharge rates as low as 0.1% per day at 20C for extended storage life, even after being discharged.
