Tempa-Altuslumen has introduced the PAD-L, a weatherproof and portable LED.
PAD-L features a swivel-cover that acts as a stand for hands-free lighting.
There are four levels of light intensity and a flashing mode can also be set.
PAD-L is powered by replaceable 4xAAA batteries, which can last for up to 100 hours.
A red LED indicates when the battery is low.
The light will also flash for one minute before the battery runs out.
PAD-L can light a garden, barbecue or camping area.
It is also suitable for travelling, hiking, fishing and cycling.
PAD-L weighs 98g without batteries and measures 115 x 66 x 17mm.
The main housing is made of recycled and recyclable aluminium and polycarbonate.
More than 75 per cent of PAD-L is recyclable at the end of its useful life.
The LED is more than 40 per cent more power efficient and 10-times more durable than a fluorescent bulb.
