Servo couplings aid precise positioning

Servo Class couplings in single- and double-flex disc models are designed to handle the precision positioning requirements and high reverse-load characteristics common to many servomotor applications.

The Zero-Max expanded line of Servo Class couplings in single flex disc SD and double flex disc SC models are designed to handle the precision positioning requirements and high reverse-load characteristics common to many 24/7 servomotor applications Featuring zero-backlash, torsionally stiff, 304 stainless-steel disc packs and keyless clamp-style mounting hubs, Servo Class couplings provide high torsional stiffness with low inertia to avoid system resonance

Servo Class couplings are available in single and double disc versions.

The single disc models provide higher torsional and axial stiffness in a small package.

The double disc models provide greater misalignment capability with some parallel misalignment.

Both are available in nine sizes and handle torque ratings from 0.5 to 100Nm.

These couplings are available with clamp style hubs with either inch, metric or inch metric combination bores.

Bore sizes range from 0.157 to 1.375in or from 4.0 to 35.0mm.

Servo Class couplings are ideal for use in most high precision applications such as packaging machines, machine tools, printing machines, pick and place systems and most applications that use servomotors.

A free 8-page Servo Class coupling brochure is available which includes complete selection information for ordering and a CD ROM with the Zero-Max Servo Class sizing and selection software.

The CD ROM gives the designer the Servo Class catalogue in PDF format, a comprehensive sizing and selection program, and 3D CAD drawings for all the couplings. Request a free brochure from Zero-Max ...
