Drives brochure covers the full range

A Zero-Max product story

Zero-Max has published a new catalogue covering right-angle gear drives, adjustable speed drives and linear actuators.

Zero-Max has published a new catalogue covering right-angle gear drives, adjustable speed drives and linear actuators.

The brochure has been expanded to include new application photos and data for each of the products.

A proven method for changing operating speeds, Zero-Max adjustable speed drives eliminate the need for expensive AC/DC drives or variable pitch belt drives.

They provide speed control for inputs from 0.25 to 1.5hp applications with output torque ratings from 1.4 to 34Nm.

They accept input speeds from 0 to 2000rev/min, allowing output speed changes to be made quickly and easily, whether the machine is running or idle.

Applications pictured include air seeders (adjust seeding rates for various types of seeds/fertilisers for agriculture), materials handling (adjust speed of conveyors) and pumps (vary speed/flow rates), and others.

Compact and sealed from contaminants, the Crown right angle gear drives feature class 10 spiral bevel gears and non-magnetic stainless steel shafts.

They provide directional motion change in all types of power transmission systems.

They are available in standard two and three way models with 1:1 and 2:1 speed ratios with shafts diameter combinations of 0.375, 0.5, 0.625 and 0.75in.

Applications pictured include labelling and packaging systems and special machinery.

Converting rotary motion to linear travel and carrying loads at speeds to 70in/s, Roh'Lix actuators handle thrust rates between 5 and 200lb.

A less costly alternative to precision ball screws, these actuators are adjustable so that the system will disengage if the preset thrust is exceeded, providing overload protection if an obstruction is encountered in the system.

Applications pictured include automated paper slitting systems, packaging and special machinery.
