Couplings enhance system performance

A Zero-Max product story

The Zero-Max line of Servo Class couplings includes single disc SD and double disc SC models.

The Zero-Max line of Servo Class couplings includes single disc SD and double disc SC models.

Both styles are designed to meet the precision positioning requirements and high reverse-load characteristics required of today's servomotor applications.

These Zero-Max Servo Class couplings provide system designers with features that enhance system performance.

SD models provide a small package with high torsional and axial stiffness.

SC models provide high parallel and axial misalignment capability.

Both models have zero backlash, low inertia with a greater coupling torsional stiffness operating range to avoid system resonance in most applications.

Designed to handle the drive and resolution characteristics of servomotors such as AC, DC, or stepper and AC synchronous, these couplings have flexible metal stainless discs and keyless clamp-style mounting hubs.

Both single and double disc styles require no maintenance and are quick and easy to install.

They are available with inch or metric keyless hub bores, which make them the ideal mounting solution for a broad range of precision servomotors.

Available in 18 sizes with torque ratings from 0.5 to 100Nm, the couplings are available with clamp style hubs with either inch, metric or combination bores.

Bore sizes range from 4.0 to 35.0mm.

3D CAD drawings and coupling sizing software is available on CD-ROM.
