Bushings ease quick positioning jobs
ETP-Octopus bushings can be set up for fast and frequent locking/unlocking of linear slides or similar motion devices from a remote switching location.
Bushings provide fast and firm connections
When tightened, a single radial screw actuates a piston to compress the medium, expanding the bushing walls and creating a solid connection between shaft and hub.
Unlike mechanical bushings that have slots that can trap debris, the ETP is completely sealed.
The ETP Express stainless steel models are designed to provide a tight, solid connection between the shaft and mounted components.
The device has a double-walled sleeve filled with the FDA-approved food grade actuating pressure medium.
When tightened, the single radial screw actuates a piston to compress the medium, thus expanding the bushing walls and creating a solid connection between shaft and hub.
The ETP Express stainless models have higher torque capacities than stainless steel mechanical locking bushings.
All ETP Express models will mount components precisely on a shaft without axial movement during the mounting process.
ETP Express stainless steel bushings handle torque ranges from 54 to 1900Nm and hold concentricity to 0.02032mm.
They are ideal for use in tight areas and have just one radial adjusting screw for fast mounting, repositioning and phasing of components to shafts.
An Allen wrench is the only tool required to mount and lock these bushings into place.
They position in seconds and can be re-adjusted many times just as quickly and without any axial movement of the bushing or component along the keyless shaft.
ETP Express stainless steel bushings are available in inch and metric sizes from 5/8 - 2 inches or 15 - 50mm. Request a free brochure from Zero-Max ...
