ZF Industrial has strengthened its footing in the UK market for high performance servo gearheads by appointing drive system specialist Drive Lines Technologies as a distributor in South East England.

ZF Industrial has strengthened its footing in the UK market for high performance servo gearheads by appointing drive system specialist Drive Lines Technologies as a distributor in the South East of England.

The ZF range has enabled Drive Lines to better serve its customers with complete power transmission solutions for backlash-critical applications; such as those found in precision milling, drilling, grinding and other machining operations.

Bedford based Drive Lines has supplied specialist power transmission solutions to designers and manufacturers of diverse systems and machines since 1985, and has developed one of the most trusted names in the business.

Its product portfolio includes flexible and offset shaft couplings, positive drive shafts, precision screw jacks, low cost planetary gearboxes and now, thanks to the recent agreement, ZF's high performance WT, PG and PGE servo gearheads.

Peter Newbery, Internal Sales Engineer at Drive Lines explains: "We already specify and supply high-volume low-cost planetary reduction gearboxes and geared motors for use in applications where backlash is not critical".
