High-ratio gearboxes are easily
customised

The new Graessner DesignGear range of right angled gearboxes from ZF Industrial has been introduced to fulfil the custom high ratio requirements of automation system designers.

The new Graessner DesignGear range of right angled gearboxes from ZF Industrial has been introduced to fulfil the custom high ratio requirements of automation system designers The compact bevel and helical gear design maximises output torque from a smaller box and ZF is able to supply units with customised shafts, flanges or mounts to fit the broadest possible range of automated production lines and conveyor systems

With eight standard models, offering ratios from 15:1 to 50:1, the Graessner DesignGear range forms the ideal basis to provide custom units for machine and systems designers in automation, handling and processing industries.

Not only does the right angled range cater for the high ratios and input speeds required by the automation industry, but the units also provide the high levels of accuracy with backlash levels of less than 5arc-min.

A two-stage bevel and helical gear wheel assembly enables torque outputs of up to 7500Nm to be achieved from an extremely compact, lightweight unit, giving designers greater flexibility in terms of machine space and reducing weight.

Standard and hollow input shafts are available to match the needs of all current servomotor designs, with or without a coupling.

Output assemblies can be provided in extended solid shaft types and machined with any key or spline design.

Flexibility in terms of fitting is also unlimited, with attachment bolts and plates customised to improve new designs or retrofit existing machines and conveyor systems. Request a free brochure from ZF Great Britain ...
