PLM software gets to grips with
schematics

Windows based database solution harmonises subschematics, modules or blocks for product lifecycle management.

Available now from Zuken and CIM-Team, E3.e-PLM is a Windows based database solution for harmonising subschematics, modules or blocks for product lifecycle management In addition to providing the architecture required for total design reuse, the integrated project management functionality also simplifies procurement allowing users to generate complete project order data with one mouse click

The new solution integrates Zuken's tested and proven engineering product lifecycle management (e-PLM) environment with the longstanding E3.series technology from CIM-Team.

It allows users of the E3.series electrical control system design and documentation suite to fully align and integrate with nearly all departments involved in the product lifecycle, from development through to production.

This environment implements a common process within organisations that increases rates of innovation and shortens time to market, all by simplifying the design and production practices involved in managing product variants, revisions and customisation.

"There is an enormous amount of potential for truly optimising electrical and electronics product lifecycle management within all of our tool environments".

"This is the most significant integration of software between the two organisations - Zuken and CIM-Team - and is a very significant step forward for us in terms of delivering the synergies that we promised the market following the acquisition of CIM-Team in April 2006", said Wolfgang Heinrichs, Zuken's e-PLM Business General Manager.

"E3.e-PLM now brings standardisation and the reuse of proven subsets of designs within the E3.series environment into reality".

"Implementing E3.e-PLM breaks away from the traditional process and control structures within many organisations that have historically suppressed interdisciplinary co-operation between departments".

"In essence it allows each department to maximise its own opportunities", added Heinrichs. Request a free brochure from Zuken ...
