ZWCAD update allows switching between drawings

A ZWCAD product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 30, 2009

ZWSOFT has released an updated version of its ZWCAD package, 2009i.

The software features drawing tabs that let the user switch between drawings quickly.

When more than one palette is open, the user can overlay them and switch between them using tabs.

After attaching externally referenced drawings, ZWCAD 2009i alerts the user that changes have been made by other users, reminding them to update the reference to ensure that they are working with the latest revision.

After switching to paper space for the first time in a new drawing, ZWCAD 2009i automatically creates a new viewport.

Users are also able to customise the paper space and add plotstamps to the edges of plots so that other engineers can work out when the plots were made and from which files.

The JPEG and PNG file formats are listed as plotters in the plot dialogue box.

There are also more settings in the CTB plot style that define line-end styles, line-join styles and fill styles.
