Trade fair showcases test technologies

A Zwick Roell product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 25, 2006

A trade fair will be held at Zwick in Ulm (Germany) from 16th to 19th October 2006.

The general trend towards quality management, quality assurance, and certification of compliance with quality standards has brought about an upsurge in measuring and testing technologies.

These fields are changing and developing dynamically, not least due to innovations in manufacturing technology.

These new manufacturing methods and processes cannot be implemented effectively without new testing methods.

This year's trade fair will be held at Zwick in Ulm (Germany) from 16th to 19th October 2006.

Exhibiting their latest range of measuring and testing systems will be the members of the Zwick Roell Group and 25 partner companies, who are among the leading suppliers of testing machines and systems worldwide.

As in the last years "centres" have been set up dedicated to various fields of testing and measurement.

Standard materials testing applications will be prominently featured including metal, plastics, automotive applications, building materials and a new centre focussed on the medical industry.

Product-related stands have been set up for interesting application areas such as the Service Centre, to illustrate their growing significance in the testing machine market.

Naturally, with cost effectiveness in mind, machine modernisations and overhaul programmes are a key issue and exhibitors will demonstrate the benefit of enhancing the performance of existing equipment.

The test software testXpert II is the thread running thought the entire testing technology of Zwick Roell due to its "intelligent" adaption to all testing applications - regardless of whether it is a static or dynamic testing system.

testXpert will be demonstrated on all exhibits and in a special competence centre.
