David Phillips will co-ordinate all global activities relating to Zwick Roell's presence in the aerospace industry.
The recent growth in orders coupled with the company's focus towards the dynamic test sector has enabled the Zwick Roell group to identify many opportunities for its customers in the aerospace industry as they transform their businesses and respond to the latest challenges.
As a global supplier of materials and component testing systems, Zwick believes that it offers many benefits with its wide range of specialised equipment used in research organisations, quality control and routine testing environments.
The group has recently appointed David Phillips to co-ordinate all global activities relating to its presence in the aerospace industry.
David joined the Zwick organisation in 1982 fulfilling a number of important roles in the UK and, more recently, as Managing Director of its Asia-Pacific Headquarters.
In his new role as Vice President, Corporate Marketing, he brings both a technical and commercial understanding of the needs of customers and is collaborating with many leading aerospace organisations.
Zwick delivers complete solutions, developed specifically for the needs of aerospace and related organisations where precision, reliability, flexibility, ease of use and first class technical support are the minimum requirements.
Products include the latest technology in materials and component testing software, digital contact and noncontact extensometry, customised tooling and fixtures, and personal consultation through its team of application experts.
